This is how they spend those four days.

I got no less than three fics for Chocolate Box, and they are all awesome in three different, wonderful ways. Go and read them and give them some deserved love!

Title: come up from the desert
Fandom: Ivanhoe
Rating: General audience
Word Count: 978
Characters/pairings: Brian de Bois-Guilbert/Rebecca of York

Characters/pairings: Alma Garret/Al Swearengen, Dan Dorrity
Warnings: Swearing
Summary: Fragile fucking flowers aren't the ones to spare a thought and time to tend, as they'll be the first reclaimed by the dirt. It's the buds that open in the wild atop a sturdy stem, leaning in the wind but springin' back, might prove worth the rain and morning sunshine.

Title: Be Unwearied, Unceasing, Alive
Fandom: The Mummy Series
Rating: Explicit
Word Count: 5947
Characters/pairings: Ardeth Bay/Evy Carnahan O’Connell/Rick O’Connell

Summary: Evelyn felt the flutter of something deep in her belly — something that connected to the adrenaline she'd felt after Ardeth had pulled her to safety, and Rick's hands had closed over hers carefully, firmly; we are alive, we are okay.

Day 09

DAY 9: Send feedback to two fannish people — they can be anyone you want: a writer who’s made you happy, a moderator of your favorite exchange, a fanartist you avidly follow… There are so many possibilities. Just let someone know you appreciate their work.

Easy. I picked up two fics on my to-read list and left comments.

I got my assignments for Chocolate Box and I am pleased. There wasn’t that many requests that overlapped with what I want to write and of those there was only two letters which really spoke to me. And I got the one I wanted the most! Wohoo! I already have a good idea of what to write. (It would be ironic if I would manage to write something the recipient hates…)
