Chocolate Box letter
It’s Chocolate Box-time again!
Dear Chocolate Box creator,
I hope you will find this letter useful. Here are some general likes and dislikes: I’m fine with any rating. Please note that I have requested the characters I want in a fic, but that you are free to include any additional character you like unless I have clearly stated it’s a character I don’t want. I have a few hard prompts- basically, I want MOAR of the characters I love, and if you just steer clear of my dislikes, you can’t go wrong.
I like: Missing scenes, epilogues and AU’s which explores alternate timelines. Bittersweet romances. Introspection fics. Funny fics where the character banter or snark at each other. I also enjoy angst and darkfic if you want to go that route. I love fashion history and I love it when clothes are correctly described. I definitely have a costume kink. For higher ratings I enjoy BDSM, but more vanilla flavoured sex is fine too. When it comes to OT3’s I like all participants to be equally wanted. I don’t mind if two worshiping a third, but I don’t want something where the third part isn’t really welcomed or just wanted by one of the other ones.
If you want to write darkfic, then I’m happy with mind control, manipulation, non-con, dub-con, psychological sadism. I do like a proper grounding for them, though, not just thrown in for the sensation. I also like when the personal consequences from traumatic experiences are explored. Minor violence is ok. I’m fine with both happy and unhappy endings.
As for art. I would love to receive it, but I don’t have any particular prompts just for art. I’m fine with any rating when it comes to art too.
DNW's: Character bashing, or character’s suddenly changing personalities. A good character may go darker or an evil one nicer, but then I like to have a good psychological reason for that change. Modern AU’s. A/B/O. Amputation, body horror, cannibalism blood play, wet, scat, child abuse, medical experimentation, torture, incest, animal abuse, mpreg, and too gory violence.
Deadwood
Al Swearengen/Alma Garret
I love this show, and years later it still annoys me we never got a fourth season. Amazing writing, characters, actors, set and costumes. I especially enjoy how the characters are multifaceted with both good and bad sides. Al and Alma shared very little screen time, but I loved their interactions, and want more of it.

This is one of my favourite books, but I thought Dracula was a bit under-used. I'd be equally happy with missing scenes as well as something which takes place after the book.
Ivanhoe
Brian de Bois-Guilbert/Rebecca of York
When I was five I saw the 50’s version of Ivanhoe with George Sanders and Elizabeth Taylor as Bois-Guilbert and Rebecca, and it must have been my first OTP. But my favourite version of Ivanhoe is the 90’s miniseries as the length provided the characters with more depth. I would love a fic where Bois-Guilbert doesn’t die, and he and Rebecca meet again, a few years down the road. Both Bois-Guilbert and Rebecca changes because of their interactions, and I’d love to see how those changes play out if the were to meet again. But I would also be happy with a fic taking place within the time period of the original story too.
The Mummy-series
Ardeth Bay/Evy Carnahan O'Connell

Imhotep/Evy Carnahan O'Connell
I particularly love the first movie, with its mixture of fun, adventure, but also some rather scary stuff. So I would be equally happy with a fic which focuses on fun and adventure, or a darker one. Rick/Evy/Ardeth is one of my favourite OT3, and I would be very happy if you wrote that. I also ship Ardeth/Evy. I have absolutely nothing against the canonical Rick/Evy, but I’m not particularly interested in a story which focuses on their relationship, but I don’t mind if they are in a relationship in a story that does not.
Imhotep/Evy is more of a dark pairing for me. I would be happy with darkfic here, or something which end either with Ardeth Bay/Evy Carnahan O'Connell or Ardeth Bay/Evy Carnahan O'Connell/Rick O'Connell.
Please, no Alex O’Connell.

Garcia Flynn/Lucy Preston
I binge-watched the whole show over the holidays, and though I have a bit of mixed feelings about it as a whole, I loved the interactions between Lucy and Flynn. Given the, to say the least, complicated nature of Flynn, I don’t necessarily need a consummate relationship between them, even if the feelings are there. A happy ending is not necessary either, but that doesn’t mean I would n’t love to get one. I would like both missing scenes-fic, like filling in the blank when Flynn captures Lucy at the end of "The Capture of Benedict Arnold", or the night they spend drinking in Flynn’s room. I would also like an alternate ending where Flynn doesn’t die or that kiss on Titanic we never got in the show!
