Dear Chocolate Box-filler,

I hope you will find this letter useful. Here are some general likes and dislikes. I’m fine with any rating. Please note that I have requested the characters I want in a fic, but that you are free to include any additional character you like, unless I have clearly stated it’s a character I don’t want. I have few hard prompts- if you go by my likes and dislikes you can’t go wrong.

I like: Missing scenes, epilogues and AU’s which explores alternate timelines. Bittersweet romances. Introspection fics. Funny fics where the character banter or snark at each other. I also enjoy angst and darkfic for all my requested fandoms apart from Dirk Gently’s Detective Agency I love fashion history and I love it when clothes are correctly described. I definitely have a costume kink.For higher ratings I enjoy BDSM, but more vanilla flavoured sex is fine too. I have a few OT3 and I like all participants to be equally wanted. I don’t mind if two worships a third, but I don’t want something where the third part isn’t really welcomed or just wanted by one of the other ones.

If you want to write darkfic, then I’m happy with mind control, manipulation, non-con, dub-con, psychological sadism. I do like a proper grounding for them, though, not just thrown in for the sensation. I also like when the personal consequences from traumatic experiences are explored. Minor violence is ok. I’m fine with both happy and unhappy endings.

I don’t like: Character bashing, or character’s suddenly changing personalities. A good character may go darker or an evil one nicer, but then I like to have a good psychological reason for that change. Modern AU’s. A/B/O.

I’m totally squicked by: Amputation, body horror, cannibalism blood play, wet, scat, child abuse, medical experimentation, torture, incest, animal abuse, mpreg and too gory violence.

Versailles

I fell in love with this show last year, much to my own surprise. The 17th century is one of my favourite historical periods, as well when it came to the fashion, so I was prepared to be annoyed by factual errors. But even if the writing plays fast and loose with what really happened occasionally, I really enjoy the show. I’m drawn to character with ambiguous moral, straddling the line between good and bad, so it’s not surprising Fabien Marchal quickly became my favourite. I thought the show hinted the possibility of Fabien/Claudine and I’d love to read a fic about them. But I also ship Fabien with Sophie, even if that relationship pretty much has to be rather dysfunctional.

The Mummy

I re-watched the two first Mummy-movies last year, which sparked life into an old favourite. Much to my surprise I suddenly developed a hankering for Rick/Evy/Ardeth and if you enjoy writing that, I would me more than happy. I also like fics which explores a relationship between Evy and Ardeth or Imhotep.

A fascinating multi-level book with so many interesting characters. I also hugely enjoyed the TV-series for its casting and settings, if not always how they handled the story. Childermas/LadyPool/John Segundus is one of my OT3 I read like candy.

Man in the High Castle

I really enjoyed Juliana and Joe’s interaction in season 2 and I would love to see more of it. I don’t particularly ship them, but if you have a really great idea for a fic which do, then I’m willing to read it.

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency

Amanda Brotzman/The Rowdy 3

I was very sceptical about this new adaption, but I loved it! And to my surprise I suddenly shipped Amanda with the Rowdy 3. I loved how they took care of her and how she trusted them almost at once. I hanker for enthusiastic consent, but it may be as rough as you please.

Doctor Who

The Third Doctor is my favourite Class Doctor and Delgado!Master is my favourite Master ever. Lis Shaw is one of my favourite companions, but I adore Jo Grant too. Basically I will be happy with whatever you feel like to write.
